The Deluxe Commercial Wet Belt Sander is designed for high production work. This machine sands, grinds, and polishes large or heavy pieces. The deluxe sander is equipped with a 1/2hp motor, a 13" high back plate, a 4" high back plate, belt guard, instructions, and product guarantee. A water valve takes 1/4" OD plastic tubing for gravity water flow or 1/4" copper tubing for pressure systems. The 13" high back plate makes it possible to wet sand flat surfaces vertically. This unit ships with the motor attached, ready to plug in and operate.

Deluxe Commercial Wet-Belt Sander

This machine is incredible!! First, anything from Covington comes packed to handle any shipper's worst treatment with zero damage!! Second, this is an incredible machine for preparing glass for foiling, and for polishing glass (get the felt belts and cerium oxide!). This is used in a glass studio (MasterGlass), but is suitable in any high-production environment. We love this thing, and have been through several other cheaper makes, but this one is the bomb! Works like a dream

We are a glass arts studio with over 160 members. We bought this wet belt sander about 4 years ago and it gets daily use with many hours and probably lots of abuse due to level of experience within the club from none to lots. Just this year the water tray and back splash started peeling and one of the bracket broke. We ordered the replacement parts and it is back up and running.
