Covington has sold Koolerant #3: Kool Lube for a number of years now. Unfortunately, with Covid, materials for the original #3 Koolerant became scarce. Because of this, the maker of our Kool Lube had their scientists reformulate the product for us! #3 Reformulated Kool Lube is still a fully synthetic, oil free product without nitrates, chlorine, and phenols. This low foaming formula also includes rust inhibitors and has great lubricity. It is colored blue to distinguish it from the original Kool Lube. Simply mix this product with 10 parts water and you are ready to cut! If you are cutting harder materials, we do suggest decreasing the amount of water and going with a 5 to 1 ratio.
