Sintered diamond blades are a longer lasting blade compared to the notched rim. These blades are manufactured by embedding 325/400 diamond grit directly into the metal matrix that forms the edge of the blade, giving user a nice fine cut.  Sintered blades are a better value than other blades because of their long life. The Red Thin Rim Sintered blade is best for general stone cutting. (The thickness of blades will vary some due to paint and raw material variances).
