These polishing cones are made of resin that is embedded with cerium oxide and cork in order to facilitate an optically clear polish. Simply add small amounts of cerium slurry to the top while working on your piece, and this tool will help facilitate your polishing step. These are available in 5/8"-11, 1"-14, and now in 1/2"-20 thread.
